Amal Joe Founder & CEO

Amal Joe is a Mechatronics Engineer with a rich experience working with top Oil & Gas Companies in UAE. He was a participant at Jagriti Yatra 2018 ( World’s Largest Entrepreneurial Train journey) and member of the Jagriti Enterprise Network. He was a vertical Head of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell, VFSTRU. Amal Joe is a graduate from the McKinsey & Company Forward Program and certified in Lean Six Sigma. He is keenly interested in Research & Development and was a participant at Anveshan 2019. He is an advocate of DIY, Reuse & Sustainable Development. He was inspired to start the social venture during his visit at the Dubai Expo 2020.

Dr. Joe GeorgeDirector

Dr. Joe is a social worker, environmentalist and an educator with more than 30 years’ of experience working for social and environmental causes. He has an international experience working as a coordinator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Moody International, UK. He also has a rich experience running a School in Andhra Pradesh for 2 decades. He has worked with the Central & State Governments on several projects related to watershed management, tribal welfare, child & women welfare, community development, labour welfare, sanitation, resource management and promoting awareness for ecology and responsible development. He was a Paryavaran Vahini Member, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change for 2 terms.

Hithesh Krishna Board Member

Hithesh is an Electronics Engineer, working in the shipping Industry as a Mariner. After a first-hand experience of witnessing the effect of plastic pollution in the deep waters of the Atlantic Ocean, he was alarmed and started advocating and working towards a plastic free planet. Hithesh believes in a sustainable future and finds the direction of Stryde in the correct direction aligned with his efforts.
